TONIGHT’S Tendring derby between FC Clacton and Brightlingsea Regent was postponed shortly before kick-off, due to a floodlight failure.
One light was out and although both teams are thought to have been keen to play, the match officials decided it would have been unsafe.
The sides had been due to meet in a Thurlow Nunn League premier division derby, originally been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch just after Christmas.
