Rain meant groundstaff were left with little option
THERE was disappointment for Clacton’s first team when their scheduled Essex League division one fixture against Maldon was postponed on Friday morning.
The match should have been played at Vista Road.
However, heavy rain during the week, coupled with the forecast of even more to come, left the Tendring District Council groundstaff with little option and the fixture has now been re-scheduled for Saturday, February 22.
