FC CLACTON stalwart Barry Leatherdale says the ongoing wet weather is proving a “nightmare” and “demoralising”.
The Seasiders, like so many other clubs, have suffered a succession of postponements and there are already major doubts about Saturday’s Thurlow Nunn League premier division fixture at home to Godmanchester Rovers.
A pitch inspection is almost certain to take place tomorrow afternoon.
Groundsman and secretary Leatherdale says the soggy conditions have left his playing surface “like a pudding”.
