BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent are hoping for a bumper crowd at Saturday’s huge FA Vase tie against Bodmin Town.
The Cornish side are making the marathon journey east for a fourth-round – last 32 – tie at North Road (kick-off 3pm).
“I can’t wait for it to come now,” said Regent boss James Webster.
“We just want to get on with it.
“There’s been so much interest in the game – more than for any other in my time here.
“My phone hasn’t stopped ringing and we’re really hopeful of a big crowd, to cheer us on.
“We haven’t done anything differently this week.
“I wanted to keep things as normal and low-key as possible and not build it up too much.
“The players already know how big a game it is but I don’t want them to be over-awed by the occasion.”
The Bodmin squad are starting their journey early on Friday afternoon and staying at the Weeley Travelodge.
