NEW manager Phil Yearling was within touching distance of a dramatic victory in his first game in charge of FC CLACTON.

Instead, he had to be content with a share of the spoils as his side drew 3-3 at Thurlow Nunn League premier division rivals Felixstowe & Walton.

Clacton led 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 and grabbed their final goal – what looked destined to be a winner – in the 90th minute.

However, Felixstowe attacked again and salvaged a point with their third equaliser, two minutes into stoppage time.

Aaron Condon scored twice for Clacton, before a late third from Billy Wales.

BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT ran out 4-1 winners in their top-of-the-table clash at home to Haverhill Rovers.

Josh Gould gave them the lead midway through the first half and Phil Kelly slotted their second soon after the interval, after a neat through ball from Ricky Griggs.

Haverhill headed one back before Kelly restored the two-goal cushion and Griggs whipped in a powerful, angled effort from the right to make it 4-1.

STANWAY ROVERS bounced back to winning ways thanks to an impressive 1-0 victory at Norwich United.

Craig Hughes grabbed their winner and ecstatic boss Angelo Harrop said: β€œIt was an unbelievable result."
