FC CLACTON were involved in a thrilling 4-4 draw at Thetford Town today, in the Thurlow Nunn League.
Player-boss Ray Turner and Jack Clampin gave the Seasiders a 2-0 lead, but the hosts fought back to lead 3-2.
Jake Clowsley and Lee Peacock goals then put Clacton back in front, before Thetford snatched a share of the spoils from the penalty spot.
STANWAY ROVERS enjoyed a fantastic 3-0 victory at Walsham-le-Willows.
Chris Ribchester, Jimmy Webb and Jose Espinosa were on target for Angelo Harrop’s side.
BRANTHAM ATHLETIC lost 2-1 at home to Haverhill Rovers, despite taking an early lead through Jack Smith.
In division one, Adam Daniels gave HALSTEAD TOWN an early lead but they lost 3-1 at Haverhill Borough.
The matches involving BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT and WIVENHOE TOWN were both postponed.
