FC CLACTON suffered an unfortunate 2-1 defeat at home to Walsham-le-Willows today.
The Seasiders produced another spirited display, especially during the second half, and were more than worthy of a point.
Instead, they were left licking their wounds after conceding two late sucker-punch goals.
Clacton nosed in front midway through the second half, thanks to Aaron Condon.
The striker, who rejoined the club this week, won and then powerfully buried a penalty.
But Walsham levelled and then grabbed their winner in the last few seconds.
