Regent secure Vase glory at Colney Heath

BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent are through to the fourth round of the FA Vase after a stunning 2-0 victory at Colney Heath tonight.

The sides met in a third-round replay, after drawing 2-2 at North Road on Saturday.

Terry Rymer netted from the penalty spot before an own goal secured Regent's progress.

They now face a home tie against Bodmin Town on January 18.

Dan Beeson saved a penalty for Brightlingsea, while their hosts were reduced to ten men in the second half.
