Sought-after Aaron has lots to ponder
SOUGHT-AFTER striker Aaron Condon could soon be weighing up not one but two offers to leave FC Clacton.
The front man has made a remarkable start to the season, hitting 14 goals, and Maldon and Tiptree made a seven-day approach on Monday.
Now another Ryman League division one north side have sent an e-mail suggesting they are about to make a similar approach.
Condon has admitted feeling “confused” by his dilemma, but “humbled” by messages of support and goodwill since news broke of Maldon’s interest.
And he insists the prospect of remaining put at Clacton is still a “big option”.
“It’s flattering but confusing and a bit daunting,” said Condon, 23.
“Maldon have made an approach and I’ve also had an e-mail from another club.
“Everything has happened at once and it’s a lot to take on board.
“Staying is still a big option, too."
