Rymer is confident of goals
FORMER FC Clacton striker Terry Rymer is backing himself to be among the leading goal-scorers in this season’s Thurlow Nunn League.
The Brightlingsea Regent front man opened his premier division account with a goal in Tuesday’s 3-1 victory at neighbours Wivenhoe Town.
And Rymer, who played Ryman League football for the Dragons during Steve Pitt’s tenure as manager, is in buoyant mood for the rest of the campaign.
“I’m confident I can finish high up the league’s scoring charts,” said the striker, who has also played for Stanway Rovers.
“I’d like to finish in the top five and I’m aiming for at least 20 goals."
