Seasiders notch their first win since November

FC CLACTON notched their first win since November 24 in this afternoon's Thurlow Nunn League premier division derby at home to Wivenhoe Town.

The Seasiders won 2-1, with an early own goal being followed by a volleyed effort from Kevin Coyle.

Marley Spindler headed a late consolation to ensure a nervous finale, but the hosts held firm.

Meanwhile, Brightlingsea Regent's division one match at Braintree Town Reserves was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch and has been rearranged for March 27.
