NEW Clacton Cricket Club chairman Pierre Oxley has outlined a bold vision for the future that includes title glory and plans to host floodlit Twenty20 matches.
The Tendring First councillor took over from long-serving club stalwart Neil Cavender at Sunday’s AGM.
And he says the hard work starts now in terms of making his ambitions a reality.
Oxley and his committee have revealed an eye-catching plan which also includes a drive to get more youngsters playing cricket.
For the full story and the views of both Oxley and Seasiders stalwart Gary Kirk, see this week's Gazette.
