Foakes preparing for Australia A

FORMER Clacton cricketer Ben Foakes and his England Lions team-mates play their first one-day match against Australia A on Saturday.
The opening contest in the five-match series takes place in Hobart, with the second following on Monday.
The Lions lost all their warm-up matches, against Victoria.
They went down by eight, four and eight wickets respectively.
Foakes, who now plays his club cricket for Frinton and lives in Kirby-le-Soken, hit 53 in the second game, in Melbourne.
