Battling Seasiders are pipped at Stanway

FC CLACTON produced another excellent performance but lost 2-1 at Stanway Rovers, in this afternoon's Thurlow Nunn League premier division derby at The Hawthorns.
Ali McInnes gave them a first-half lead, after a cross from Aaron Condon.
But Rovers scored twice in the last 15 minutes through former Seasider Chris Ribchester and Andy Joslin.
Meanwhile, in division one, Brightlingsea Regent drew 1-1 at home to Fakenham.
