Tendring girls book a place in last eight

TENDRING Technology College’s girls have powered their way into the last eight of the Under-18 National Championships.
The Frinton-based volleyball team secured their place after finishing runners-up in their pool, at the second round in Bournemouth.
They are now looking forward to a trip to the National Volleyball Centre, in Kettering, on February 24.
“We’re elated and extremely proud that the girls have done so well,” said PE teacher Kerry Skinner, who coaches the girls along with Rebecca Saunders.
