League leaders are first opponents

CLACTON Hockey Club hope to get back in action this weekend – although they face a tough task at leaders Upminster.
The Seasiders were due to play their first game of the new year last weekend, at home to West Herts.
However, the game was called off due to a frozen pitch.
That means that weather and pitch-permitting, their opening match of 2013 will be the tricky trip to East Men’s League division two south pace-setters Upminster.
