Regent boosted by Fair Play prize
5:12pm Thursday 17th January 2013 in Sport By Matt Plummer
BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent have scooped a £200 voucher for finishing second in the latest Thurlow Nunn League Fair Play Awards.
Great Yarmouth Town were the winners for the two months of November and December, with Regent second and Braintree Town Reserves third. As a result of their success, Brightlingsea have received a £200 Prostar Apparel voucher.
It represents more good news for the promotion-chasing club, having also won the Thurlow Nunn League’s bi-monthly team performance award for October and November.
James Webster’s side were without a game last weekend and Saturday's scheduled trip to March Town has already been postponed, because of the snow.
FC Clacton finished ninth in the Fair Play Awards.
