Condon is banning talk of relegation

AARON Condon wants to banish relegation talk at FC Clacton.

The Seasiders are bottom of the Thurlow Nunn League premier division with just two wins and nine points from their 25 games.

However, Condon believes improving performances have given fresh hope of a miraculous survival.

And far from waving the white flag, the wide midfielder or striker said: “No-one talks about relegation or the prospect of playing in division one.

“We’ve banned that kind of talk in the dressing room, because the fight isn’t over yet.

“I’ve heard people say that if we go down we’ll come straight back up but, for me, it’s too early and negative to be thinking along those lines.

“We’re taking this extremely seriously and I believe it’s definitely possible to stay up."
