Chris fights his way to a gold in Belgium

CHRIS Harris fought his way to a gold medal in Leuven.
The Links Karate Kai student, along with seven other club-mates, was competing at the Belgium International Open, where competitors from around the world came together to display their Kumite skills.
Harris left the crowd in no doubt that he is one of the best -60kg fighters in Europe.
He beat all-comers and took the only gold by any English team on the day.
Emily Appleby battled hard in a tough -59kg junior group and made the final, where she was pipped for gold by a couple of points and brought home silver.
Loren Cook fought well in the senior -68kg category and came through the repecharge to win bronze.
Ethan Day, Sam Day, Chloe Duce, Rhian Duffy and Jake Pickering tried hard but went out in the early rounds.
