Woman sadly dies after going into cardiac arrest.
A rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew attended a report of a woman with chest pain at 9.25am in Kursaal Way, Southend.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Whilst at the scene, the patient went into cardiac arrest.
"Another rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer, and an air ambulance from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched.
"Despite their best efforts, the patient sadly died at the scene."
The air ambulance landed in Southchurch Park.
