THE annual St Clement’s May Fair was packed yesterday as hundreds enjoyed a day of family fun in the sunshine.
More than 30 stalls, bouncy castles and bands filled Leigh Library Gardens, in Broadway West.
The rain held off, meaning trips to the top of the church’s tower with its far-reaching views could be enjoyed, while youngsters made the most of the coconut shy, hair plaiting stand and the classic hook a duck game.
Live music was playing throughout the day from bands including Slow Loris, the Saxophone Quartet and the Salvation Army Band, and there was even a classic Hillman parked up amid the stalls.
