BOOK lovers are being invited to take part in a reading campaign next month.
Thurrock Libraries will once again be celebrating National Bookstart Week from 5 to 9 June with special ‘Explore Outdoors’ story time sessions across the borough.
National Bookstart Week encourages families to have fun reading together, anywhere and at any time.
This year’s theme is ‘Let’s Explore Outdoors’ and children who attend events will receive a free copy of the picture book ‘Everybunny Dance!’ by Ellie Sandall.
The events taking place are on Wednesday, June 7 from 11am to 11:30am, at the South Ockendon Centre , Friday, June, 9 from 11am to 11:30am, at Hardie Park, Stanford-le-Hope and again on Friday from 2:15pm to 2:45pm, outside on the green at East Tilbury School, or in East Tilbury Village Hall if there’s wet weather
These events are free and are suitable for pre-school children.
