Crossroads Care is celebrating after being awarded £5,000 from The Screwfix Foundation.
Wickford-based charity Crossroads provides support for carers.
The money from the foundation, which makes grants to building projects, will go towards repairing new windows, installing a new kitchen and bathroom and redecorating the new premises throughout.
Jo Fellows from Crossroads Care comments: “We are very grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for donating these much needed funds to support our charity.”
Lisa Aston, Store Manager of the Screwfix store in Basildon, comments: “Staff from across the business have held fundraising events to raise vital funds for The Screwfix Foundation, so it’s fantastic to see the money being invested back into such a worthwhile community project.”
