A manhunt has been launched for a Tilbury suspect who failed to appear in court and is wanted in connection with car theft and burglary.

James Blakey-Campbell, 23, is wanted for bail offences, breaching a court order, failing to appear in court and in connection with the theft of a car in Orsett on July 12 and a burglary in Billericay on August 10.

He is described as white, 5ft 9inch, of slim build, with brown eyes, brown short hair and stubble.

He has a cross tattoo on his right hand, a tattoo with the name ‘JJ’ on his left arm, and a tattoo with the name ‘Alfie’ on his right arm.

He also goes by the name ‘Jay’ and is known to frequent Thurrock, South Ockendon, Wickford, and Basildon.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts are asked to call Dc Stacie Cottrell at Grays Police Station on 101.
