VISITORS to Barleylands may recognise the farm parks new scarecrows.

Britain's Got Talents judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams have been recreated as stuffed straw figures by manager Dave Finkle.

They won't be the only judges at the farm park over half term, with Barleylands holding a scarecrow competition.

Visitors are invited to make their own creations as part of the park's Farmers Week event, taking place from Monday, May 30 until Friday, June 3.

Families will also be able to get up close with the animals at Barleylands, with the chance to bottle feed lambs, watch bird of prey displays and take part in interactive reptile sessions.

There will also be tractor and trailer rides, while three to 14 year-olds will have the chance to take to the wheel of mini Land Rovers.

Mr Finkle said: “We hope our Strawman Cowell will only scare off birds and not our farm park visitors.

“We’re looking forward to declaring Barleylands’ Got Talent after our visitors have tried their hands at making their own scarecrows during half term Farmer Week.

"We always see some fantastic creations and as well as daily prizes of farm park tickets and the best of the week will win a Tiptree Tea for two!”
