ADVENTURE Island are expanding their pizza and pasta restaurant after such high demand.

At Feelgoods Pizza Pasta Play demand is now so great for the delicious Italian snack and freshly-made pasta that bosses have decided to invest a lot of dough to super-size the existing restaurant.

The fun park, along, Southend Seafront, will be beginning the £184,000 development at Feelgoods restaurant on Monday June 13 and is expected to be complete about a month later.

Andrew Renton, Operations Director, said: “We have commissioned a new dining room to be constructed, which will feature a retractable roof to make the most of Southend’s glorious sunshine,”

The new development has been inspired by the overwhelming success of ‘The View’ at sister restaurant, Sands – also on the seafront.

James Gibbs, Catering Director for the Stockvale Group, said: “Since we launched Feelgoods our customers have embraced the American-style concept of great food, brilliant live entertainment and exciting downstairs play area.

“So much so, that we are now frequently running at full capacity, especially during the holidays and seafront-based events, such as the firework nights and throughout Christmas.

“During those times we see a huge volume of customers and on a more general basis, we have very high demand from our loyal annual pass holders, who have become loyal Feelgoods fans. It is such a busy and vibrant restaurant, which means that it is, more often than not, full to capacity.

“The expansion will take our seating capacity up to over 300, which will mean everyone will get a seat when they want it and, when the sun’s out, enjoy al fresco dining by the seaside.”
