Volunteers at the Bata Heritage Centre Open Day
Bata Heritage Centre recently opened the doors of East Tilbury library for a special Open Day. Visitors were invited in to see the 50th anniversary of a Scout Troop in East Tilbury display as well as the 1966 World Cup triumph and displays showing the Bata and West Ham United “link”. Guided tours around the Bata Estate were also given and amongst the visitors were students from University College London and Rosemarie Bata. The next Open Day will be on Wednesday October 12 at East Tilbury library from 10am to 4pm.
