Two Thurrock mothers have been fined for admitting their children failed to attend school regularly.
The parents appeared before magistrates at Basildon Magistrates Court on Wednesday April 27 after admitting their children failed to attend school regularly.
One mum was fined £80 for each of two children, ordered to pay £100 in costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
A second mother was fined £150 for one child’s non-attendance, ordered to pay £150 in costs and a £20 surcharge.
