THURROCK Marching Brass played the Last Post at the last stop of an inspirational young fundraiser’s journey at Wembley Stadium recently.
Jonjo Heuerman, 14, set out several years ago to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund, after his Nanny Lynn was taken by the same illness, bowel cancer.
The youngster, who has now raised an incredible £250,000 for the fund, walked and cycled 450 miles to bring a World Cup trophy replica from Germany to Wembley Stadium.
