PET lovers headed to a sunsoaked Belfairs Park for the Essex Wildlife Trust’s annual dog show.
Crowds dropped by to enjoy the sunshine and see which pooches had the potential to come top in their class.
These included dogs with the waggiest tail, dog in best condition, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, dog the judge would most like to take home, best junior handler (under 18), scruffiest dog, dog and owner lookalike contest, and best in show.
The judge tasked with deciding which canine qualified, was local dog expert Sarah Hickey.
The fundraising event, aimed at both pedigrees and mongrels, was held to raise money for Essex Wildlife Trust’s work across the county.
