LONDON-BOUND commuters faced cancelled or delayed trains this morning as overhead wire problems affected c2c trains.
The issue, between Laindon and West Horndon, was first identified by c2c before 6am, with customers initially told trains would be delayed by up to 15 minutes and platform changes would be in place.
The 5.23am from Shoebury was terminated at West Horndon, with services out of London Fenchurch Street being cancelled from 6.40am onwards.
Tickets were being accepted on Abellio Greater Anglia and London Underground services as trains both in and out of Fenchurch Street were cancelled.
It is not yet known what caused the problems but services were returning to normal at around 9am.
