ALTHOUGH the weather was bitterly cold, the community came out to sing around the Christmas tree at the library.
Louis Sorrell-Wilde and Thurrock Spectrum Brass entertained the crowd, and a Christmas service was presented by Major Sharon King, from the Salvation Army.
The Community Bar n Bus served hot drinks and mince pies, donated by Morrisons.
Organiser Julie Sorrell-Wilde thanked all who turned out to support the event.
