THESE potential witnesses to the attempted rape of a nine-year-old are being urged to come forward by police.
Officers released the CCTV images in hope the people in them may be able to help them with their investigation into the serious sexual assault, which took place in an alleyway between Park Lane and Park Street, Westcliff, on November 10.
They, and anyone who was in the area between 4.30pm and 6pm, are being urged to come forward as potential witnesses to assist in the investigation.
Steven Partridge, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted rape and child abduction.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on November 14 and was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Basildon Crown Court on November 28.
