A CHARITY 70’s night hosted by Thurrock organisation Cariads helped to raise funds that will continue to support local carers.

Cariads is a service for carers appointed by Thurrock Council to provide information, advice and support to all adult family carers in the borough.

The evening, which was attended by Thurrock Mayor Steve Liddiard, was an opportunity for carers and their loved ones to come together in one place and have a fun evening. The night was such a success that carers are already requesting an 80’s night.

Cariads is provided by three local voluntary groups – Thurrock Mind, Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions and Thurrock Centre for Independent Living.
