THERE are long delays approaching the QEII Bridge after an earlier a fire.
A blaze broke out beneath the bridge earlier this afternoon, causing for traffic heading clockwise around the M25 to be held for a short time before the bridge.
Traffic has since been given the go-ahead to proceed, but long delays remain with queues stretching back as far as the Junction 29 for the A127.
In recent weeks, delays have been a daily occurence approaching the QEII Bridge - both in the morning and the evening.
Free flow tolling - which it is hoped will help alleviate congestion - is due to come into force in October.
