PURFLEET Care Centre, in Tank Hill Road, has been given a clean bill of health by the Care Quality Commission.
The health watchdog reported that positive feedback from those who used the GP practice, its services and health promotion activities demonstrated the centre was increasing the effectiveness of its systems and helping to ensure people had access to a doctor in a timely manner.
Inspectors also noted the practice worked well with other organisations and referrals or reviews were done appropriately and well explained to patients.
Yvonne Wright, service manager at the centre, said: “It’s really good news that the commission has recognised we’re providing good care.
“Patient feedback is really important to us, so I’m pleased to hear they told inspectors how happy they were with the service.”
