This years event will take place on October 3 from 10am to 4pm.

More than 55 exhibitors will be at the fair and will cover a whole range of sectors including hospitality, care, retail, construction and manufacturing.

The event – which is free to attend - is run by Tendring Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and supported by the Clacton, Frinton and Walton Gazette, Harwich and Manningtree Standard.

Zoe Fairley, cabinet member for investment and growth, said: "These are real businesses with real jobs on offer and you may find just the career you are looking for.

“We have already sold out of stand space and the event has been incredibly well backed by companies and firms across the district and outside.

“I would thank all those who have helped in any way and especially those who are sponsoring the fair which is all about better job prospects for residents and finding the people needed to grow businesses.”

Courtesy buses will be operating to bring job seekers to the event from Harwich, Dovercourt and Jaywick.

Jackie Phillips, from the DWP, said: “This is our fifth year and we have worked with our colleagues in Tendring Council with the jobs fair. We are really looking forward to another successful event.”
