RESIDENTS who suffer from hearing loss are being invited to join a charity's research panel.
Action on Hearing Loss, formerly the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, is inviting those with hearing loss or tinnitus to get involved and help shape the charity's research projects by completing surveys and one-to-one interviews.
Evidence gathered will be used to form the charity's policy, services and campaigning.
Dr Roger Wickes, Action on Hearing Loss' director of policy and campaigns, said: "We’d be grateful if Braintree and Witham residents would get involved in our panel, which we hope offers a great opportunity to feed in their first-hand experience of hearing loss and highlight everyday issues that will help shape our future work, supporting people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus to live their lives to the full."
