PUPILS are fundraising for the emergency services which rescued the victim of a car crash.
Kyle Collier, from Colchester, was passenger in Shane Scott’s car which was involved in a collision.
He suffered serious injuries and is in an induced coma at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Kyle, 18, of Magnolia Drive, had seven hours of surgery following the crash.
Anita Sparrow, a family friend, set up a donation page and Colne Community College is fundraising for the emergency services which helped him.
The Just Giving page has reached £2,500, and funds will be raised at the Wivenhoe mayor’s fete this Saturday.
Anita said: “Kyle’s mum and dad would like to express their thanks to everyone for the love, messages and donations.
They are remaining strong and optimistic for Kyle.”
