MORE than 100 people attended a reunion party for one of Braintree's former schools.

Former pupils of Braintree County High School met at The Glebe Community Centre, Braintree, on Saturday.

The evening programme included a light buffet, guest speaker and of course the chance to rekindle old friendships.

During the late 60s or early 70s, Braintree County High School was combined with Margaret Tabor School and renamed Tabor High School.

Tabor House in Coggeshall Road, Braintree, which was formerly the County High School in the early 1900s, has recently been converted in 19 flats.

Julia Goodwin, one of the organisers, said: "We had an enjoyable afternoon with in excess of one hundred attendees spanning four decades with former pupils from Ottawa Peter John Lawrence, Annette Sinkler and Janet Hatch."

"If any former pupils wish to contact ourselves our reunion email address is 2013bchs@gmail.com."
