A CHORAL group is performing a classical favourite at its upcoming show.
Witham Choral is singing John Rutter’s Requiem at the United Reformed Church, in Newland Street, on Saturday, June 10.
The show is a come and sing performing and takes place at 7pm, with an afternoon rehearsal at the church also taking place at 3pm.
Patrick McCarthy, musical director of Witham Choral, said the group would be “delighted” to welcome new singers and it would contribute to a more exciting show for the audience.
Strawberry teas and hot drinks will be provided for the singers on the day and choral scores are all provided.
Singer tickets cost £10 and audience tickets £5.
