SHAME: Residents were shocked to hear about the armed robbery at the Co-op in Broadway, Silver End
A TEEN has been released without charge following an armed robbery in Silver End.
The Co-op in Broadway was raided by three men on January 23, and they stole thousands of pounds.
The staff were left shaken after the incident but were not injured.
A 17-year-old man was arrested near the scene on suspicion of robbery and possession of drugs.
He was on bail until April 24 but has been released without charge and faces no further action.
