UPDATED: Man, 21, arrested on suspicion of raping woman after handing himself in to police
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of rape after CCTV images of two men were issued in an appeal.
A 21-year-old man from Colchester attended Colchester police station this morning, Friday, December 9, and was arrested.
Officers have identified both men pictured in the CCTV and as such these images should no longer be used or circulated on social media.
The arrest is in connection with an incident in Lexden Road, Colchester which happened on Sunday, November 27.
