Man left with fractured eye socket after being glassed outside town centre bar
A MAN was left with a broken eye socket after being glassed outside a town centre bar.
The victim, aged in his fourties, was attacked outside Straws, in Osborne Street, Colchester, at about 8.30pm on Wednesday, October 26.
The information was only released to the media this morning.
Detectives are hoping to speak to a woman who they believe was attending an event inside the bar and alerted people to the assault before leaving.
