TRIBUTES have been paid to a newlywed young mum who died suddenly at her home in Halstead.

Victoria Mungroo, 28, died on October 18 after collapsing at her home.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, rushed to Gardeners Road at 5.26pm.

Victoria was taken to Broomfield Hospital in a serious condition.

She died later that evening.

The mum-of-three is thought to have died due to suspected clots on her heart and lungs.

The stay-at-home mum married Hussein Mungroo just six weeks ago, and gave birth to son Caleb a month ago.

She also had children Caitlyn, six, and Xavier, one.

Victoria’s mum Siobhan Richardson, paid tribute to the former Tabor Academy pupil.

She said: “She was such a pretty girl and so caring.

“She had a wicked sense of humour. She would play a prank and then laugh like a teenager.

“She had a fantastic sense of humour since she was a child, and she has remained young at heart throughout her life.

“We were not always the closest, but when we were we were like best friends. We would laugh together like schoolgirls and I will always cherish those moments.”

A whirlwind romance saw her fall head over heels in love with Hussein, as the pair prepared to spend the rest of their lives together.

Siobhan added: “The kids were her life, and she loved spending time with them. There is so much of her in them, especially in young Xavier who looks so much like his mum.

“She had only just been married, and only just given birth, this should have been the happiest time of her life.

“Victoria was my only child, and she has left a huge hole in my heart, this is the biggest pain I have ever felt.

“All the children are beautiful, and Victoria will live on through them.

“Hussein misses her greatly, he is a sensitive man and this has hurt him, but he will stay close to the children, and they will help him stay close to her.

“Her and Hussein met online and had a bit of a whirlwind relationship.

“From the moment they met they fell head over heels in love with each other, and you could see how much they loved each other in their faces when they were together.”

A post-mortem examination is under way.
