THE A12 has reopened after a lorry caught fire.
The fire service was called to the A12 Londonbound carriageway between Witham north, junction 22, and Witham south, junction 21 at 7.18am this morning.
The recycling lorry that caught fire was moved to a layby at 8.11am.
Two fire engines from Witham and one from Colchester attended and two hose jet reels are in use.
Traffic was queuing back to Colchester and there are still some delays on the A12.
