REPRESENTATIVES from museums across the UK visited Colchester for a nationwide conference on innovative ways of working.
Among the delegates who attended were experts from the British Museum, Kensington Palace and the National Museums Wales.
Arts Council England experts John Orna Ornstein and Hedley Swain gave the keynote speeches at the conference which is being held at Colchester Castle.
Representatives shared thoughts on how museums can adapt in the modern world by working together, developing their workforce and making the most of the space they have available.
The conference continued into a second and final day yesterday.
