A SERIES of royal educational workshops are to be held throughout half term.

Braintree District Museum are hosting their children's workshops between Saturday May 28 and Saturday June 4 celebrating British royals from throughout history.

Each day will be based around a different royal theme from across the ages of British history, including: Medieval Kings, The Tudors, Kings and the Sea, The Victorians, Queen Elizabeth II and Fantasy Kings and Queens.

Tiffany Saunders, Braintree District Museum Apprentice, said: "By choosing hands on, interactive workshops where the theme changes every day we are insuring there is something for every child to enjoy.

"Our workshops invite children aged 5-11 years and include activities to suit each individual learning style.

"The workshops leaders are well experienced in taking half term workshops, and know how to keep children entertained for the entire duration - they are able to question and listen to ensure the children feel valued and a part of the group.

"They are fantastic value and therefore an excellent choice for parents to include in their half term plans, our workshops always have a great atmosphere and it is wonderful to see children enjoying their time at Braintree Museum."

Tickets are priced at £7.50 for the whole week and are being offered at buy one get one half price.
