CHILDREN at the Scallywags Day Nursery in Braintree became chefs on Pancake Day as they made their own masterpieces.
They had a busy morning making chef hats before helping to prepare the pancake mixture and choosing their favourite toppings.
They also had a competition with paper saucepans and pancakes to see how many times they could flip them.
