A SCHOOL in Silver End has been improving its teamwork skills.
Last week Silver End Primary School in School Road held a friendship week for pupils to help them work together.
Headteacher Victoria Gooding said: “We held a friendship week in order to build our teamwork skills and support each other on the playground and in our learning.
“As part of the themed week we held team games, linked our Maths and English learning to texts about friendship and made freeze frames and scenarios about friendship, with strategies to help each other in difficult situations.
“Each class also visited the hall to place their fingerprint as a leaf on our friendship tree.
“Each class grouped their leaves together and we created a picture that shows we work better together as a team.”
